Thank You!

As my hands hit the keys to write this blog, a favorite quote sprang to mind: “If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you…that will be enough.”

I felt that Meister Eckhart was sending me a message which I imagined went like this: “Appreciate the abundance you have….and those who’ve made it possible. That alone will change your life.”

So today, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and a 13th century mystic, I’m taking this opportunity to say Thank You…

to all of you who are reading this blog, even if it’s the only time you ever do, I truly appreciate you reading it today.

to everyone who’s ever written to tell me how my work has impacted your life, you have no idea how your words have impacted mine.  In fact, I have printed out and saved every one of your notes and emails.

to anyone who’s bought my books and perhaps passed one onto a friend, this means more to me than you can ever know.

to those of you who’ve joined my beloved community, The Wealth Connection, I’m endlessly grateful you trusted me to guide you, while teaching me to be a better guide.

to my amazing team—Lynda Jo & Carney—for taking care of all the details I abhor and for supporting me so lovingly.  I really would be lost without each of you.

to my top-notch financial teamMichael, Anthony, Ben, Dave, Ruth & Peter—because even though  my portfolio bounces around a bit, it’s dramatically higher than 20+ years ago when I first found you.

to my ex who gambled away my inheritance and my father who wouldn’t lend me money, you both taught me that, indeed, the obstacle is the path, leading me straight to my life’s purpose.

to my 3 daughters, 2 son-in laws & 5 grandbabies who are traveling on the busiest days of the year to spend Thanksgiving with us. Truly, my cup runneth over.

to my beloved husband who rarely lets a day pass without expressing his love, appreciation and support for me.

Once again, from the bottom of my heart…THANK YOU ALL!

I’d love to know who’d you like to thank this holiday season. Share in the comments below.

Thank you for planting the seed that took me on my journey to learn how to invest the little money I had. Along the way I found my answers of what was a safe and comfortable way and it has grown in the past 2 years. Finally feeling like I am in charge of my own security if I end up alone. Should have started 20 years ago, but better late than never. I am 78, so it isn’t easy to try to make up for lost time.

Thank you Barbara for all you have done to help so many people especially successful women. Your fabulous book “Sacred Success” is possibly the best book I have ever read and still trying to reach my goals in life.
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving with your family and may it be filled with love and happiness.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I’m grateful for all your insight and practical knowledge about wealth building you’ve passed on over the years. And I’m grateful for money that helps me create the life I want to live and helps me stay aligned with my values!

Because one of my stocks I purchased 6 years ago has suddenly gone bullish 🐂, I feel like I’m going to have a great holiday season this year, but I know it’s no holiday miracle. I had to cancel some of my silly little subscriptions like Netflix and control my spending a little bit. I had to be consistent with saving money and make the scary transaction to buy the stock. I also had to make the decision to think very deeply about money every week.

    Cheers 🥂
