Thank You!

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you…that will be enough. ~~Meister Eckhart

Today, in the spirit of Thanksgiving and a 13th century mystic, I’m taking this opportunity to say Thank You…

…to all of you who are reading this blog, even if it’s the only time you ever do, I truly appreciate you reading it today.

…to everyone who’s ever written to tell me how my work has impacted your life, you have no idea how your words have impacted mine. In fact, I have printed out and saved every one of your notes and emails.

…to anyone who’s bought my books and perhaps passed it onto a friend, this means more to me than you’ll ever know.

…to those of you who’ve joined my groups or signed up for coaching, I’m endlessly grateful you trusted me to guide you, while teaching me to be a better guide.

…to my amazing team—Lynda Jo, Carney, Ben & Caleb—for taking care of all the details I abhor and for supporting me so lovingly. I really would be lost without each of you.

…to my ex who gambled away my inheritance and my father who wouldn’t lend me money, you taught me that, indeed, the obstacle is the path, leading me straight to my life’s purpose.

…to my wonderful financial team—Michael & Anthony—because even though my portfolio is bouncing around a lot these days, it’s dramatically higher than 20+ years ago when I first found you.

…to my 3 daughters, 2 son-in laws, & 5 grandkids who are traveling on the busiest days of the year to spend Thanksgiving with us. Truly, my cup runneth over.

…to my beloved husband who rarely lets a day pass without expressing his love, appreciation and support for me.

Once again, from the bottom of my heart…THANK YOU ALL!

I’d love to hear who’d you like to thank this holiday season. Let me know in the comments below.

I’m grateful for my Grandmother. She passed away last Friday and her funeral is tomorrow.

I’m grateful she lived until she was 96 and survived a German work camp. I’m grateful she was well until a few months before her death and lived in her house a few weeks before she died. I’m grateful for how popular she was and how fun she tried to make visiting her house when I was a little girl.

That’s so sweet and sad, at the same time, Lisa. I’m sorry for your loss, but so happy you had her for so long and it was such a special bond. What a blessing.

        Thanks, Barbara!

She was a woman with a 7th grade education who worked so hard as a cleaner, yet owned her own home which is now worth a fortune, because her home is now in a hipster neighbourhood. She would love that I’m following your advice. If I receive an inheritance, I want to make sure I invest it in something wise to respect the money she worked so hard for.

She was definitely no victim either! She knew in her heart what her simple pleasures were and saved for anything she badly desired. She puts so many people today to shame.

    Happy Thanksgiving Barbara!
I’ve been susbribing to your newsletter and reading your books for quite some time now. Grateful to all the writers, speakers and teachers who found their way into my life this year to help me along my journey to mastery in wealth, health, mindset and spirit. Grateful to the film directors and event organisers who trusted me to produce their projects and speak at their events (a first for me this year!) Grateful to all the actors, writers, casting people, magazine editors and journalists I add to my network every day. My cup truly runneth over, Always grateful for my husband who has been my rock and soulmate since we married 5 years ago and thankful to my maker, who made me such an intrepid warrior and urges me to take big leaps out of my zone of comfort every day.

I am thankful for finding you through nFormation and Rha Goddess. You two women together are changing the world the way that I have been aiming for throughout my entire life.. To my son Bryant who made me a mother 33 years ago and his 3 year old son Zaire who came into our lives to give Bryant even more purpose. To my daughter Breyana who is the answer to my prayer for a daughter after growing up as the only girl that my mother had, it has been a joyful 26 years being your mother. To Breyana’s father who I thought of as the love of my life but who taught me that while he may be the love of my life, that doesn’t make me the love of his. Wow. I am thankful that today I finally learned that lesson.

I am thankful for the love of humanity that I have, no matter how it is received by the world. My heart is full and ready to walk into my purpose. I am thankful for the hope!!!
