Receiving: A Requirement for Success

There is a direct correlation between your level of success and your ability to receive.

Receiving is to our Soul what eating is to our bodies—a source of strength, nourishment, and growth. To gain the benefits from food, you must chew, swallow, digest.

So, too, there are three steps to receiving: Acknowledge, Appreciate, and Assimilate. When you don’t fully engage in each of the three steps, you starve your Soul and your finances can suffer.

Admittedly, receiving can be tricky. Many gifts come camouflaged.

Therefore to receive fully, you must suspend judgmentNothing that happens is ‘good’ or ‘bad’right’ or ‘wrong,’ ‘negative’ or ‘positive.’

Instead, everything, absolutely everything that occurs is useful information—a sign, a message, a lesson, or a form of divine communication.

This is counterintuitive, for sure. It’s easy to receive a compliment from a friend, but a reprimand from your boss? This too can be a gift when you mine it for its deeper message.

The challenge is to find the treasure in what may seem terrible, to look for the gift in every situation, even if it feels “bad.”

The truth is, all difficulties are simply feedback systems, supporting you in staying on track or showing you where you’ve gone astray. As the saying goes “the obstacle is the path.”

Looking back, what obstacles or difficulties have you encountered that were blessings in disguise. Leave me a comment below.

Well one thing that always comes to mind is living out in the country and driving back to town and getting stuck behind a slow car I can’t pass.
I trained myself to see it as a blessing, a chance for the Universe to reposition things in my favor.
I don’t like to be held up that way but I appreciate my ability to switch out of agitation from it. ✨
